Dr. Sunje is an international speaker in the field of Phlebology and Chicago Vein Institute is a training center for other providers in the field of Phlebology.

Being an active member of the American College of Phlebology, the American Medical Association, Société Francaise de Phlebologie and the European Venous Forum, gives Dr. Sunje further insight into advances in the field of Phlebology and access to advanced education and training. In addition, Dr. Sunje has been nominated by his peers and recognized by Castle Connolly as one of America’s Top Doctors.

Dr. Mensur O. Sunje, M.D., M.S., is on staff at several Chicagoland hospitals and has dedicated his life to understanding vein disease. As a result, he is a vein disease expert who has the experience to successfully diagnose and treat both medical and cosmetic vein issues.

Danish Haque, MD

Dr. Danish Haque is a board-certified physician, who joined Chicago Vein Institute in 2016. In addition, Dr. Haque is a founding partner of Emergency Associates, S.C. at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago where he is also the clinical instructor of ED Ultrasound. Dr. Haque received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in 1998 and completed his internship at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. He is a proud and active member of the American Medical Association, American College of Phlebology and American College of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Haque is passionate about providing the highest level of comprehensive vein treatment and care to our patients suffering from vein disease in Chicago.

The clinic is very welcoming and spacious and decorated beautifully in a modern style.which is what you will notice when you first walk in. It doesn’t look like a clinic. That is how beautiful it is. There is a fireplace and beautiful white furniture and vases on shelves and the ceilings are very high and there are large windows that go to the floor.The staff is very attentive and friendly and helpful. They are very organized in getting you in and out in a timely manner. The medical staff including the doctor are both very professional and friendly. They make sure that you are comfortable and understand everything. The doctor is very experienced and knowledgeable and he will make sure that you understand everything. The medical staff also go over everything with you to make sure everything is understood regarding your aftercare. They actually have a small office that they send you to after your procedure and sit you down and go over the details of aftercare which you sign and take with you. I don’t know of any other clinic that takes the time to do this in such a professional manner. Usually, they just talk quickly and maybe give you a copy of the discharge summary.while you are still in the clinical room. It is also very clean and bright and spacious throughout the clinic and well-stocked with everything they need. You will have no regrets as a patient. They go above and beyond. It’s the best clinic I have ever been in. They have everything covered top notch.

It’s a modern facility - my favorite part of each visit is to watch their Google Earth videos with tropical destinations- super relaxing.I’ve never waited more than a few minutes for my appointments and the doctors are great!

I feel so lucky to be a patient at Chicago Vein Institute. I have been getting treatment for leg vein issues there for several years and the high quality of their care never varies. The staff is always very professional and friendly. They make sure to explain what each procedure will entail and what I need to do after my appointment. Before coming to them, I had constant leg pain, but thanks to them, I am now pain free and I can do the activities I like to do-play tennis, ride my bike, take Pilates classes-without worry.
